We have three membership levels, geared towards genetic counselors; providers and other professionals with an interest in genetics and genetic counseling; and students.

Membership Groups
Full Membership
Individuals who are genetic counselors practicing in or serving the State of Maine. Membership is automatically renewed annually. **If you are a genetic counselor who graduated within the past two years, use discount code NEWGRAD2026 for a $15 discount on your membership fee.
Associate Membership
Individuals who do not meet the criteria for Full Membership but who support the purposes of the Association. Membership will automatically renew annually.
Student Membership
Individuals enrolled in a genetic counseling training program or related educational program. Membership is valid for 1 year.
